Terms of service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Who we are
Pinscope ("the service") is operated by FluxCore Labs, a company based in Serbia ("we"). You can reach us at office@fluxcorelabs.io.
2. What the service does
Pinscope connects embedded devices that run our device component to a hosted server, so that you can reach their local network services, read their logs, metrics and crash reports, and send them firmware updates.
3. Your account
You need an account to use the service. Give a working email address, keep your password and API tokens secret, and tell us if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done with your account, your project keys and your tokens. You must be at least 16 years old.
4. Your devices and your data
You may only connect devices that you own or are authorised to operate. Logs, metrics, crash reports, firmware images and ELF files that you or your devices send to the service remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service to you.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- serve content that is unlawful, deceptive or harmful, including phishing pages and malware;
- reach devices or networks you are not authorised to access;
- attack, overload or probe the service or other customers;
- relay traffic that has nothing to do with operating your own devices, such as using the tunnel as a general-purpose proxy;
- get around the limits of your plan, for example by spreading one fleet over several free accounts.
We may suspend an account or a device address that we reasonably believe breaks these rules, and we will tell you when we do unless the law prevents it. To report misuse of a Pinscope address, write to office@fluxcorelabs.io.
6. Plans, limits and payment
Every plan includes every feature. A plan sets how many devices you can connect, and with it how long history is kept and how much traffic may pass through the tunnel each month. When a limit is reached the affected feature stops until the next period or until you change plan; data that is past its retention is deleted. Paid plans, when offered, are billed in advance for the period shown at purchase and can be cancelled at any time with effect at the end of that period.
7. Firmware updates
Sending a firmware image to a device is your decision and your responsibility. Test images before you send them to devices you cannot reach physically. We are not responsible for a device that stops working because of an image you sent.
8. The device component
The component you build into your firmware is licensed under the Pinscope Device Component License that comes with it. In short: you may use, modify and ship it in your products to connect them to the Pinscope service, and not to connect them to any other service.
9. Our rights
The service, its software, its name and its marks belong to FluxCore Labs. These terms give you a right to use the service, not ownership of any part of it. If you send us suggestions we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not promise that it is uninterrupted or free of errors. The service is not designed for uses where a failure could lead to death, injury or serious damage; do not make such a use depend on it.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim connected with it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Your responsibility towards us
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you served through the service, devices you connected without authorisation, or your breach of these terms, you will cover the reasonable costs that result.
13. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account in the dashboard at any time, which removes your projects, devices and their data. We can end the agreement with reasonable notice, or immediately for a serious breach of section 5. After an account is closed its data is deleted, apart from backups, which expire within seven days.
14. Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you we will tell you by email before it takes effect. The current version is always on this page.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts of Serbia have jurisdiction. This does not take away any right a consumer has under the mandatory law of the country where they live.
